Ski Traverses in the Central European Alps - by Peter Gumplinger
Lifetime BCMC Member since 1983 and past BCMC Executive Committee volunteer (Climbing and Socials Chairperson positions) Peter Gumplinger presents four outstanding ski traverses in the Central European Alps: the Classic Haute Route, Haute Route Imperiale / Tour du Ciel, Skiroute Hoch Tirol and The Berner Oberland Circuit. Come join Peter and the BCMC for this fascinating and compelling presentation.
The meeting will take place at the Vancouver ANZA Club main floor (corner of 8th Ave and Ontario) on Tuesday, November 8th 2016. The entrance door opens shortly after 7pm and the BCMC Social is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM. Please note: you must be 19+ years old to attend and may be asked to sign-in at the door to ensure we don't exceed 135 people in the hall.
