All helpers are welcome. Your help is needed for some finishing woodwork, cleaning up (all burnable trash needs to be burnt), plus several other odds and ends. We expect nothing complicated for many of the simple tasks required to complete this project before Winter sets in. We suggest you bring your own work gloves, but there are a couple of extra pairs at the cabin.
So please come on up, see what the new BCMC cabin looks like, and see what you can do to be a part of this club project. The roof is on and the stove is working... there is no need for tents since its nice and cosy inside.
If you have not been to the area before then you will also have the opportunity to see all the work that has been done on the new access trail... weather permitting, the views are fantastic!
For those with flexible schedules, l will be staying on past the weekend for another few days if anyone would like to do the same. no pets allowed.
NOTE: All-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicles are recommended to reach the trailhead so if you can drive and take passengers, please let others know by posting in the Planning Forum (see tab above).
