This is a great conditioning hike (short/steep) for the upcoming ski season. If you are not familiar with the BCMC Trail route (next to the "Grouse Grind"), please research it beforehand.You should feel comfortable with hiking alone at your own pace so if you are slower or faster than others you can safely reach the Grouse Mountain Chalet on your own. The plan will be to meet inside the chalet by the fireplace then ride the gondola down ($10 fee)
PLEASE NOTE - A HEADLAMP IS MANDATORY, WE WILL BE HIKING IN THE DARK!
Also, consider that most of us are doing this hike after work and in various/adverse conditions (rain,sleat,snow).
