A volunteer group through the Chilliwack Park Society has been clearing trails in the Chilliwack River Valley this summer. On Wednesday, July 27th we are meeting at the SaveOn Foods in Garrison Crossing at 8am to clear the Liumchen Lake trail. Volunteers will be transported up in 2, 4x4 vehicles. Snacks and tools provided. Please bring hiking gear, water, lunch, gloves, swim suit (if you want to swim) and any hand tools you might have that you want to use (hand clippers, pruning shears, bow saw, folding saw etc). This is a great chance to try out a 4x4 access only trail if you drive a 2 wheel drive!
