We will be hiking in and taking a couple of shovels, maybe a pick axe, for digging, and measuring where the support posts will go and start doing some digging. Point being to try to figure out how the ground is, how deep we will have to go for a solid footing, and how much concrete will be needed for the support posts.

This will be a day trip with the option of staying overnight if you want. I am planning on staying overnight and doing some route finding the next day. All are welcome to do the same. I will be checking the weather beforehand and decide closer to Saturday whether or not to stay over for sure.

NOTE: it'll be your choice whether to do this as a long day-hike or stay overnight and hike out the next morning.  Let me know which your prefer, thank you :-)
