Trad, sport, mixed climbing, leading, top roping or any combination thereof depending on group size, participant's ability and type of gear you have.  Smoke Bluffs or other climbing area nearby with a variety of climbing grades.

Participants bring: Harness, belay device, locking biner, climbing shoes and helmet are minimum personal gear requirements.

Bring any other climbing gear including single rope, slings, quick draws, cams, stoppers etc, rappell prusik, personal anchor system for securing yourself.  Bring water and food.

Trip organizer will bring:  60 m single rope, quickdraws, anchor material, some cams and stoppers.

This is not a course: Participants should be able to belay a climber on lead and top rope.  You should be able to lead climb indoors and/or outdoors.

Carpool? I can either pick people up, depending on where they live, or we can meet at the St. David's United Church (1525 Taylor Way, West Vancouver, BC V7S 1N5)

Return: Trip organizer would like to be back at Taylor Way by about 6 pm.
