Two day trip into Meagher creek hot springs north of Pemberton.

We will hike in the 10km Saturday .

Enjoy the springs Saturday afternoon / evening and possibly Sunday am then hike out.

The hike is undulating mixed terrain with some short steep bits.Lots of rugged scenery and great views .

There are 4-5 pools / some small , one fairly large, beside Meagher creek.Temperatures are moderate .

Group size may be determined by number of 4x4 vehicles.

Ive camped here before like many others. Be aware that this area is geologically unstable.

These hot springs are clothing optional as is this trip ( just saying)

Their may be 30 plus campers here on a weekend , as such I'd like to start fairly early.

Id suggest going as light as possible.

Ill bring a small first aid kit and sat phone.
