Construction of the New Watersprite Lake Trail continues with clearing work on the Skookum S1 Spur and the Skookum Watersprite Spur.

With the clearing of the S Line complete and the rough completion of the first 3.4 KM of Trail, we are ready to start work on the upper road system leading to Watersprite Lake.  Past clearing efforts have revealed the bush coverage on the Skookum S1 Spur to be relatively light.

This trip will be the fourth in a series of trail clearing and construction trips dedicated to the New Watersprite Lake Trail, which will be used to access the club's new cabin.  We will perform some minor improvements to the existing trail on the way up, and begin work on the Skookum S1 Logging Spur (yellow on the map below)

The club will re-emburse the cost of fuel for chainsaw and brush cutter operators.  Furthermore, section 57 authorization has been granted for this project.
