The plan is to climb a ridge sw of the lightning lake parking lot.

To access an old burn area that faces SW.we will ascend the ridge line through timber to about 5000 feet.

Skin in should be moderate hopefully 3.5 hours +/- . Our pace will be moderate.

Set up camp mid day and hopefully blast a run , possibly two.Sunday we can work the slope till midday then head out.

If your interested in skiing burnt areas this could be for you.Estimated angle 25+ degrees.

Safety is paramount and conditions will dictate what we ski.

The trip will culminate with dinner in Hope

sunday night.

Requirements:

Ast 1 preferred

beacon shovel probe/ knowledge and use

intermediate or better skiing ability

Ill provide a small first aid kit / topo map +compass / sat phone
