The objective for this trip is to give new backcountry skiers an opportunity to work on route finding skills. I have not been to Mount Kelly, so everyone is encouraged to research the route (page 207 in Exploring the Coast Mountain on Skis) and bring map, compass, and GPS if you have it. As it is only 5km total distance with 580 m elevation gain, we can take our time figuring out where to go!

The number of participants will depend upon:

1) How many experienced skiers we have in relation to novice skiers.

2) How many vehicles we have. Please be familiar with the BCMC driver compensation guidelines:
