This is my second trip I've organized with BCMC. I've also been organizing hIkes with Meet Up over last two years. I'm a RN by profession. I don't have my ASTs yet but have read the theory. Hopefully, someone can join that has AST. 

This snowshoe will be at an easy/moderate pace. I've been to Garibaldi Lake a few times, but have never stayed at Burton hut. From what I read there is a heater and burners there. We will meet at 730 in Squamish at the Starbucks off the highway by Canadian Tire. I'll bring games too. I like to do smores, but I don't think there's a wood stove.There is also a 10 night fee for VOC.

I think the snowshoe is 12 km and 1100m gain. We will stop every so often for photos. I love the back country:)
