This will be a fun, informal, and interactive info session for those BCMC members who'd like to learn "hands on" how to post trips to the BCMC Events schedule.  We'll learn by doing so I'm expecting everyone to bring a notebook computer (possibly a large tablet might work) so we can all go through the process of adding and managing our own personal "TEST" trip on the BCMC website.

We'll discuss the online tools (options) available for:

• posting a new trip, with some basic information about the trip, to the Events schedule
  
• how to "Reuse" any posted trip (past or future) to form the basis of your trip description
  
• being aware of what posted info is visible to the public or only to members logged in
  
• how to use the registration "Screening" option to be selective for who may attend your trip
• how to look at the recent club event participation history for members registered in your trip
  
• understanding participation statistics for the number of previous trips successfully attended
  
• online options that you and other trip participants can use to share trip-planning information
  
• how to use the trip's Planning Forum to help organize carpooling, gear sharing, and so on
  
• how to manage those on the "Confirmed" and "Waiting" lists, e.g. how to confirm participants
  
• how to add trip-related files, maps, and photos before and after the trip has taken place
  
• how to printout the Confirmed participant list to help track who's arrived at the meeting place
  
• how to add trip feedback, including who participated, to the website and why it's important
  
• options available after the trip is over to share post-trip information with those attending
  
• options to delay registration, cancel, reschedule, temporarily hide, and delete your trip
  
• I'll do my best to address any questions you may have about posting/managing trips
