The objective will be to ski off the north aspects of Metal Dome. I don't expect great ski conditions. The plan is to follow the route that John Baldwin describes from the "dog sled" parking lot. I recently moved to BC and am exploring the Coast Mountains on skis. I have not done the route and am not familiar with the area. I don't expect you to be either (part of the fun is exploring). So there may be some route finding involved (if the trail is not obvious).

Participants should have taken AST-1 or equivalent (e.g. AIARE Level 1) and should research the route and objective. Beacon, shovel, and prove are required.
