The game plan is to go to the Manning Park (Gibson Pass) ski area and buy a single ride ticket for $10.
We can skin SE from the top of the lift for 1 km on the ridge , and ski the back bowl, which is approximatley 20-30 degrees.
Its lightly gladed and affords fairly short runs, of 100m elevation drop.
Skiing will be based on conditions that we determine are safe.If its sketchy we'll tour back towards Poland Lake and make the most of it.We will be digging at least one snow pit and evaluating the snow pack.
