Drive up to Skyline parking lot with chains on my small truck. If it's raining we can decide whether or not to turn around and park at Heliotrope. I'm hoping for some fresh snow in the alpine. We will assess conditions as we go. It would be nice to yoyo a few times.
Skiing will be at a moderate pace. Conditions are expected to be variable, rain/snow mix at lower elevations and snowing higher up. We may have to hike the trail, and avi risk may be too high for skiing in the alpine. So this may just be a hike through the forest with skis on our back :)
I am open to the possibility of adding more participants using another high clearance 4wd, good tires and chains.

Minimum requirements: avi gear, headlamp, 9 essentials (not hoping for sun)
I will have GPS, map, compass, spot beacon
