The Beverley Creek trail provides access to Puma Peak, Beverley Lake and Rainbow Mountain from Whistler Olympic Park in the Callaghan Valley. It's a relatively gentle trail that follows that valley bottom through natural meadows and stands of yellow cedar trees. For this trip we will be extending the cleared winter trail further up the valley. We will also be working on building bridges across a number of small creeks that don't bridge over naturally at the start of the winter.
Puma is a fine 1900m ski peak east of Madeley Lake. The ascent connects together a series of linked talus slope as you weave up the south ridge. Descent back down the open route along the ridge, or drop down the north face and loop back around via the Beverley Creek Trail.
There are also good skiing options near the head of Beverley Creek, especially the NW facing slopes directly below Beverley Lake.
