UPDATE: the BCMC will provide some food for the club BBQ & Social... including a 7-layer dip with tortilla chips, some fried chicken, potato salad, and a large watermelon.

The annual BCMC barbecue and social.  We'll meet at Locarno Beach any time after 5 PM... I'll be wearing my honey-yellow BCMC t-shirt.  Please bring food, drinks, maybe a folding chair and (important!) if you have a BBQ (grill), please bring it.  The BCMC will chip in $5 for fuel if you offer to share with other club members.  The weather forecast looks very good... those inclined can swim, play frisbee, slackline, etc.

The exact location will be Locarno Beach, just east of the north foot of Trimble Street - the large BBQ/picnic area, west of Jericho Pier.

Please contact one of the organizers if you can bring a slackline and set it up.

This event is a great place to meet other members to discuss recent trips and your plans for future ones.  Don't forget to bring stories and tall tales of your recent adventures.
