Val David is a the premiere bouldering destination in Quebec, but also features many single pitches climbs (mostly trad). Just an hour North of Montreal, it makes for a good day trip from the city. This trip, we'll focus on the single-pitch climbing, rather than the bouldering.

We'll be leaving Montreal early (7:30am) and spending the whole day there. There will be opportunities to lead and top rope. If you have gear and ropes, please bring them along. You must have all your own personal gear (harness, shoes, chalk bag optional) and you MUST have a HELMET. Note that these things can be rented from MEC in Montreal, if you need.
