Paranoid Creek Bridge Construction - Part 2
This is the second and final trip in Phase 2 of construction of the New Darling Lake Trail. It will be run in conjunction with the Phase 3 crew and will be led/managed by the one and only Paul Kubik.
Last week's crew transported the heavy supplies to the creek and installed the steel cables and stabilizers for the New Paranoid Creek Bridge.
This trip will be dedicated to refining the new bridge by constructing decking and reinforcement. The work site is located at the red tack on the map below, and is a modest 3 KM / one hour hike from the cars (200 meters elevation gain). The road to the dam is permanently maintained, but 4x4/awd is preferred.
Volunteers are needed to carry supplies to the construction site (much lighter than last week's heavy hardware) and participate in construction activities.
The Phase 2 and 3 crews will travel together until going their separate ways at Paranoid Creek.
Come join us and help make this worthy project come to life!
