Phase 2 begins at last with construction of the Paranoid Creek Bridge!
After 6 agonizing trail building trips, the New Darling Lake Trail now triumphantly extends to the planned crossing at Paranoid Creek. This trip will be dedicated to constructing a footbridge across the infamous and defiant Paranoid Creek. The work site is located at the red tack on the map below, and is a modest 3 KM / one hour hike from the cars (200 meters elevation gain). The road to the dam is permanently maintained, but 4x4/awd is preferred.
Volunteers are needed to carry heavy supplies to the construction site, and participate in construction activities.
Phase 3 (the final) will consist of constructing a trail from Paranoid Creek to the alpine.
Come join us and help make this worthy project come to life!
