Trip Description

In celebration of Canada's national day. Climbing, hiking, paddling, and even (egads!) canyoneering at/near Squamish, followed by a BBQ and swimming at Murrin Provincial Park. Whatever you feel like, but meet at Murrin by 4:00 PM. July 1st used to be called Dominion Day, because the Constitution Act says that Canada is a dominion, but is now called Canada Day. It is onĀ a Wednesday this year, which is inconvenientĀ  in terms of extended long weekends. The plan is to have a daytrip to the Squamish area, for whatever participants feel like doing, followed by a relaxing BBQ at Browning Lake, at Murrin Park.
