So up the ridge and when we top out there a good few options to do. Drop in on "South side" west and ideally it would be great if we would go down most of the way and then put a trail in to go back up for another, as opposed to going out the whole way and deal with thicker timber. There is also a steep tight classic couloir (Birthday chute) we can hit that connects with the bottom of "South side' east. If you are thinking about hitting it, make sure you are a confident skier in that terrain and it doesnt hurt to have your ice axe with ya in case its a bit icy. I know I am definitly into hitting it. So we could yo-yo that area or even go over to "cheques in the mail" and yo-yo the top and do some major powder harvesting. You can ride the whole way out but it is still a bit of an alder field at the bottom but its not too bad, or ski out one of the south side runs. Lots of options.

This trip requires participants to have taken a AST-1 or greater course, highly confident skier/boarder in 30 to 40 degrees terrain, good knowledge of riding in avalanche terrain, meaning knowing convex rolls, unsupported slopes and being aware of your sluff as you decent.

Bring your avy gear (beacon, probe, shovel, snow saw if you have one) Participants should be ok with taking 10 to 30 minutes out on our ascent to dig a pit and check the snow profile. Water, food, comfy clothing, head lamp (just in case) and anything else to make your day more enjoyable.
