Classic ski trip in the Garibaldi Lake area. Approach via Price Bay. Depending on the conditions and strength of the group we may descend via the south slopes and return via Table Bay,

This trip is within the Sea to Sky checkpoint zone and will be limited to between 10 and 14 people. We currently have 3 checkpoint passes in the group.

Participants must bring AT ski gear and avalanche transcievers on this trip. The trip may be rescheduled for Sunday if the forecast for Saturday remains poor. That decision will be made early Friday evening. Check back here to confirm. The meeting place is St David's church.

Current conditions are that the trail is bare at the bottom so we'll need to carry skies. I am expecting lots of fresh snow above the barrier and the lake is frozen. The current (Wed) Vancouver forecast is for rain on Saturday and cloudy with low POP on Sunday.
