A cold Sunday in Quebec - ice climbing at Lac Sylvere. This will be a technical ice climbing trip for climbers with ice climbing and lead belaying experience. Not an introductory course. :-)
Participants must bring all their own gear (harness, HELMET, technical mountaineering boots, crampons, technical ice tools, gloves/personal gear/ etc.). I will be leading some climbs and setting top-rope(s) on others. It would be great to have other competent ice leaders joining.
No Helmet, No Climb.

The Plan:
Meet in Montreal at 6:00am and drive North. Expect to arrive about 8:00am and hike up past the Sugar Shack. Climbing by 9:00am. Then back to Montreal at the end of the day.
