Postponed: Moving date from Jan 17th to Jan 24th due to weather forecast. 

One day session covering the essentials of terrain identification and route selection.  Location will be Needle Peak on the Coquihalla.  Please only sign up if you are 100% committed to joining us for the day.  Consideration will be given to last minute change of location or postponement if weather is forecasted to be completely clouded in/whited out (without visibiliy it is difficult to see all necessary features).

Minimum Equipment

• Suitable tested method of travel on snow (snowshoes or backcountry skis)
• appropriate clothing for alpine travel
• transceiver, shovel, probe.
