**PLEASE check junk folder if you use gmail as many times the emails from this website are labelled as spam! SATURDAY Dec 20 Ski tour up Frosty Mountain near manning park ski resort. In John Baldwin's book it states the tour is 24 km but with short days we will see how high we get and return before darkness. It is the highest summit in Manning Park (2410 m)  with at start at 1250 m so snow conditions should be the best in the area. The trail is well marked with 300 meter run off the summit. There have been great reviews about this tour and sounds like an excellent objective. I drove through the area last week and there was lots of snow at that time.

Participants should be familiar with avalanche rescue gear (transciever, probe, shovel) and with their touring gear.
