Tired of repeating Seymour, Dog, Hollyburn, and Elfin Lakes? Go a little further afield for this adventure.
This is a moderate snowshoe trip in Manning park to the peak of Windy Joe, with views towards Frosty, to ease into the winter. Likely snowshoes required, but mini-spikes might be more appropriate depending on snow conditions.
Beginners are welcome, but need to be self sufficient (ten essentials, waterproof footwear + be prepared to be in cold sub zero conditions).
Sunset is 4:20pm. Two hour drive to Manning Park. Hiking at 9:30am. Expected hiking time 5 hours.
