Weather is going to be really wet on the coast, and driest area looks to be around Birkenhead Park. Drive up to Birkenhead Lake and camp Friday evening. Drive tup Phelix Creek logging road. Hike up to hut and head up to surrounding peaks and lakes. Chilly weather and probably a few snow showers, but better than the rain on the coast! Return Monday evening.
