6:00 pm - west parking lot, just below the gate to the grind
With ski season approaching and the days getting shorter this will be an opportunity to do the Grind/BCMC up and then to make sure the quads don't feel left out back down. Those who prefer to skip the down in favour of the gondola (and perhaps a beer) are welcome to come along for the 1st half. We will take a moderate pace up, about the equivalent of a 50 to 55 minute grind. A short break at the top and then about the same time to go down.
You just need to bring your usual grind attire, cloths for the weather - a bit of rain and cooling temps, a good quality headlamp and extra batteries and food and water to keep the energy up. I find that hiking poles take a bit of pressure off the knees on the way down but these are certainly optional.
