Informal climbing camp in Red Rock, Nevada... about 30 minutes driving from downtown Las Vegas. Red Rock arguably has some of the best long, moderate multi-pitch rock routes in North America.
You can join the camp for the full duration or only a portion. The partner arrangements are casual based on who is there and what people want to climb. Note that on a climbing camp participants are expected to be somewhat autonomous -- so you need to be comfortable leading moderate multi pitch climbs on-sight (new area).
As for all rock climbing trips, you need to have your own camping gear, bring your personal climbing gear (helmet, harness with belay device, chalk bag, shoes, prussics, lockers, etc).
In order to participate in this camp, you must fill out all information on the Google Doc here: Red Rock Info Sheet.
My plan is to drive down with tentative arrival date of Oct 17-21. I have some flexibility so I will confirm my plans as we get closer to the dates. I have room in my truck if someone wishes to join me for the drive down. I will be going to Arizona after Oct 30, so will not be able to share a ride on the drive back.
