A non technical hiking trip to a seldom visited area 23K east of Squamish to a place where the club has a tenure to build a cabin should it decide to do so. The drive in is 2 wheel drive all of the way except for the last 200M. We will be following a flagged partially cleared route to the lake itself where we will be camping. The hike in will take about 4 1/2 hours. No technical gear is needed for this adventure. No fish to be seen in the lake! There are 3 peaks immediately available from the lake. Dreadnought, Martin and Watersprite Tower are the 3. 1 can get quite close to the summit of the Tower but the last wee bit before the actual summit requires a rope and 2 rappels. Martin and Dreadnought are both hikes. In looking at the topo of the area there are also 3 peaks due south of the lake as well for the more adventurous.
