NOTE:
ORGANIZER WILL BE UP IN AREA ALREADY BUT WILL HELP ORGANIZE CARPOOLING AMONGST PARTICIPANTS
IF GROUP WANTS TO HIKE OUT SAME WAY WE CAME IN, THIS CAN BE DONE AS 2 DAY (SAT/SUN) WEEKEND TRIP
I was in the area last summer (did the scramble up Grimface), and have to say it is an absolutely beautiful park!
My tentative plan would be to take two cars - park one at base of Lakeview trail, then drive to Wall Creek entrance. Hike up Wall Creek first day, camp. Do the traverse on the middle day, and maybe move camp to Ladyslipper Lake (one of the most beautiful alpine lakes I've ever seen!). Maybe fish a bit - I'll bring a rod - and have a very casual hike out past the lodge and the Lakeview trail on the last day. Alternatively, we could not bother with the car shuttle and just hike out Wall Creek, the same way we came in - up to the group!
Top tip: You probably shouldn't come on this trip unless you've done some climbing in the alpine, or at least serious roped-up scrambling and are comfortable climbing 5.8/5.9
