Looking to take advantage of the long weekend with a trip to Glacier Peak. I still need to have a more detailed look at the different route options, but this trip will aim to take the classic (easiest) route. I understand it's a bit of a long trek, so I'd allowed three days to allow us to go at a fairly relaxed pace.
This peak is glaciated, as the name suggests, but not known for being particularly heavily crevassed. That said, I expect we will still want to travel roped on some sections, and have all the gear and skills for crevasse rescue just in case.
This trip will only go if the weather forecast and snow/avvy conditions are decent. If either looks poor, I'll aim to reschedule for the next long weekend.
Further details to follow closer to the trip date.
**PLEASE NO FLAKY PEOPLE. While I understand life sometimes gets in the way of adventures, please only sign up if you're serious about attending. Last minute cancellations make organizing rides and group gear rather difficult. Thanks for your understanding!***
