I have changed the meeting time to 07:45 at St. David Church.

it will be a scorcher on Saturday!!! Good day to climb at Murrin -- but we need to head early to get parking and setup at the Commonwealth wall. I hope this works for everyone.

Bring lots of water, sunscreen (although we should be in the shade), and a bathing suit and towel if you want to go for a dip. Of course bring your personal climbing gear, rope and any lead gear that you may want to use.

Cragging in Squamish at the Smoke Bluffs. You can top-rope, or lead climb or even multi-pitch. 

All participants must bring their personal climbing gear (harness, belay device, locking biner, climbing shoes, helmet). Also highly recommended is a prussic for rappelling, lunch, water, and snacks.

Ropes & anchor material for this event are provided by participants and not by the club. If you have a full strength climbing rope and anchor material, please do bring it. Also bring your lead rack, slings and QDs if you plan on leading.

While the more experienced climbers are usually happy to share their knowledge, this is not a climbing course. Every participant must be able to belay and is expected to have some top roping experience (indoors or outdoors).

Meet at 7:45 am at St. David church at Hwy 1 and Taylor Way West Vancouver. Return to the church by 5pm or so.

Logistics are self-organized. Please use the Planning Forum attached to this trip page to organize rides to the church and to let others know whether you can drive to Squamish or not.
