Note: This used to be a trip to Zoa, it has been changed to Manning Park on account of the planned Highway 5 closure tomorrow morning.
This will be an easy trip. The skiing is fairly mellow. The hardest skiing is a few trees, which shouldn't be that bad with the fresh snow. New skiers are welcome, but please try out your gear before this trip to make sure there's no big equipment malfunctions.
Avi gear/training is required. We'll stay out of dangerous terrain, but we're passing through the worst avalanche conditions this season, and the forecasted hazard is still Considerable.
I'll try to organize a carpool from Vancouver if there's enough people.
