Leave Vancouver Friday night, and make camp up the Caspar Creek basin (see Baldwin page 141 and 142). On Saturday and Sunday, we can attempt summits of Mt. Caspar or Mt. Duke or both, or stick to some easier touring depending on conditions. Return to Vancouver Sunday night. 

Participants must have AST 1 or equivalent, beacon, shovel, and probe. Participants must also have suitable winter camping experience. This is not a beginner trip. Splitboarder? No problemo.

If the CAC bulletin is "high" or greater, this trip will be postponed. 

It's going to be icy. Ski crampons, boot crampons, and an ice axe are probably good ideas.
