For all the other Xmas grinches out there, looking to escape dreaded "family time" on Christmas Day. Let's go for an easy ski day to one of the local spots. I would be looking to return back to Vancouver around 4pm at the very latest (more likely 3 to 3:30) so that we can all go back to our respective families and stuff ourselves with turkey, tofurkey, and other assorted foodstuffs while regaling them with them tales of skiing awesomeness (tales may be slightly exaggerated).

 

Easy, familiar destination. Either:

 

Mount Seymour (first, second or third peak depending on group and conditions); 

 

or 

 

Diamond Head / Paul Ridge (if conditions on North Shore are still abysmally low)
