This is one of the classic ski trips in the Garibaldi Lake area. Approach is via Price Bay.
Participants must bring backcountry ski gear, avi gear, and headlights (w spare batteries). It may be rescheduled for Sunday if the forecast for Saturday is poor. That decision will be made early Friday evening. Check back here to confirm. The meeting place is St David's church.
Please note: This is a long day trip requiring previous backcountry ski experience and is not suitable as a first trip. If you are an Associate member, please provide reference information (date, destination, organizer) of prior ski trips that you have completed with the club.
AT or Tele gear only. No splitboards, snowboards, or snowshoes.

Due to a continuing poor forecast I am postponing this trip to Monday Mar 17th. I have no further weekend opportunities this season. If no one is interested in doing it on Monday, I'll cancel it and will repost next year. The forecast for Monday is mostly sunny and clear with limited cloud conditions and a lower freezing level.
