A search for early season ice on the slabs near "thinking inside of the box" and North.  These slabs are highly avalanche prone.  The hope is that we will find ice formation prior to the seasons snow achieving threshold depth for avalanche.  Trip will re-route to either Box Canyon or elsewhere if conditions are not favourable.
