We'll drive up on Saturday morning and hike into Valentine Lake. The Spetch Creek Road has been fixed up recently and is reportedly drivable with an HC 4WD almost all the way to the old trailhead. If you don't have an HC 4WD vehicle, your participation will depend on someone having space in their vehicle for you.

On Sunday we'll climb Saxifrage and Cassiope and then hike out. Both are classed as moderate scrambles in Matt Gunn's guidebook.

If the weather forecast for Sunday isn't good, this trip will be postponed until the following weekend.

Gear required: Ice axe, helmet, overnight gear

Note that this is a joint trip with the ACC, so waivers for both clubs will need to be signed and the BCMC sign up list may not show everyone who's registered for the trip.
