Because the quota policy, we can actually obtain climbing permits for Mt. St. Helens only for Monday, May 20. I will need to buy the permits on-line in advance by Thursday evening. So I expect signing people to be absolutely committed for the trip, which cannot be rescheduled. Please do not sign up, if you are just a "fair weather skier". The plan is to drive to the trailhead for car camping on Sunday, ski up and down the mountain on Monday and come back around midnight.

You need: a valid passport, $22 US for permit plus extra cash for travel expenses, camping- cooking gear, avalanche and ski equipment, crampons and ice ax. Travel insurance recommended (ie. BCAA)
