The AST-1 avalanche safety course is highly recommanded for anyone who is planning to get out in the backcountry in the winter time. It will be offered by the Canada West Mountaineering School and will take place over the 2nd weekend of January. The first day will be held at Mt. Seymour and the second one, at Whistler/Blackcomb. There will be two groups of 8 participants, and we expect the courses to fill up fast, so sing up soon!

Special group price: $159 / person + backcountry ski pass for the day at Whistler (40$ + GST) Passes for the day at Mt. Seymour will be provided.

Requirements for the course:

- Being able to ski (You will need your own gear, or rent some) and posses a good fitness level.

- Beacons, probes and shovels will be provided for the course.

Payments will have to be recieved by Friday, December 11th, 6pm.
