Trip Description

Skiied Seymour on Saturday, it was a bluebird day, sunny and cold. A previlant thin crust overlain with a couple of centimeters of snow made for execllant conditions for working on skiing on a breakable crust. By the late afternoon south facing slopes had soften up enough for getting some turns on short steeper bits of slope.

Skiied at Cypress, Hollyburn on Sunday, again a bluebird day. Cold temps firmed up snow melt dropped from the trees forming a crusty lower section grading into nice dry snow at about half way up to the summit. Skiing down from the summit was very nice until the crusty lower section, and then it was skill develpment time all the way down to the parking lot.

The groomers should be in very good shape. The snow making will keep the runs supplied with artifical snow, and reasonably good night skiing conditions for Thursday evening. I am looking to be there about 5:00pm, but do not worry if you cannot start at that time. Text or call me(leave message) for details on were to meet up. I may not be working Friday, if so, I will be staying late. Come and join me and work on skills for downhil or backcountry skiing, network. Swap videos? Anyone have "Superheros of Stoke"?
