The BC Mountaineering Club is pleased to offer club members (only) the opportunity to attend the BCMC Intro to Aid Climbing Program. Bellow are more details.

What: Intro to Aid Climbing
When: Aug 8th, 2009, meet at 8am at St David's church at Taylor Way and Hwy 1, back at 6pm
Where: Squamish
Instructor: Jason Wheeler
Cost: $35
Maximum Group Size: 4 participants
Prerequisites: trad gear experience
Topics covered: aid climbing basics, climbing in aiders on trad gear, progress on hooks, talons and leeper cams, following an aid pitch, jugging up ropes, simple aid pulling on gear and stepping on gear to get through a crux, haul bags, fast and efficient rope use on multi pitch routes.
Gear: helmet, harness, belay device, hiking boots, climbing shoes, any trad gear you have (some will be provided)
