Coliseum has been described to me as heaven on earth. 

It is so close to home....  I propose an easy pace for those of us too intimidated to join many of the BCMC trips - photo ops, swim breaks, and so on.  Having said that, this ain't no easy hike - starting at Lynn Creek, we mostly bushwhack up up up  from Norvan Falls, and when we get to the alpine, it's open, and potholes, and view of the city tempered by views of the stuff no-one ever sees to the North.  I fly over it every day and it looks like a candy dish to me....

I propose a day up, and a day to swim, explore, etc, and a day back.
