The trip details are as follows:
Friday: evening departure to trail head and car camp.
Saturday: hike in to hut and gear up and summit a peak.  Stay at Keith`s hut.
Sunday: big trip day. Stay at Keith`s hut.
Monday: short trip day, hike out and return to Vancouver late evening.

Travel time to trail head: about 3 hours
Travel time hiking to hut: about 3 hours

Routes up all of the peaks in the area vary from class 3 to class 5 including hikes, scrambles, rock routes and snow and ice routes.

Group trips will probably be in the class 3/4 range, but will be finalized depending upon the skill level and interest of the participants signing up.

Glacier travel is common in the area, but can be avoided.  Previous glacier travel experience is required and gear is required to travel on glaciers on this trip.

Subgroups and subgroup leaders are welcomed to organize for any specific routes that they are capable and interested in doing. If you would like to lead a subgroup, please let me know.

Expenses will include fuel expenses for those riding in vehicles and for those staying in Keiths hut. I will be collecting $5 per person per night and passing that on to the hut society on behalf of the club.

Trip size: TBD, with a definite restriction of 10 staying in the hut, others can camp outside.
