This is a HIKING camp. In 2001 I had 29 come to this area. In 2002 another 12. So it is time to back again.

Day 1 is to drive there and hike in.

Days 2 3 4 are for hiking.

Day 5 is to move camp.

Days 6 7 8 are for hiking.

Then day 9 is to leave.

One can choose to do longer hikes or shorter ones. Your choice. Hence the B 2/3 rating. Mt Truax is the main peak in the area. There are black bear, grizzle bear, deer, mountain goat, lakes, rivers, meadows. You will be shown where to get Quartz crystals for a souvenir. This area is at the southern edge of the Chilcotins. A stunning place. The only equipment needed is an ice axe. Club members only. Cost is $10 each. No pets.
