The climbing starts 10 minutes from camp with LOTS of variation for everyone.

There is a 4 1/2 hour drive to the camping area. { no facilities }. The closest small town is Vantage. 10 minutes away. Nearest full sized grocery store is in Quincy, 35 minutes away. Each have eateries.

We will drive down the first day picking up supplies in the town of  Ellensburg  on the way; as we are limited to what we can take over the border. We will also get our wilderness parking passes there. $12 for 2 vehicles

We usually go into town at least once during the week for supplies. We will also be taking a break for a day to go for a short hike. 

The basalt columns, geology, of the area are quite spectacular.

For those who cannot get the whole week off; do not hesitate to just
come for just a couple of days, or, the first or last weekend. All are
welcome.
