Seven day hut to hut ski traverse of the classic Wapta Icefield (includes two days for side trips/bad weather).

Sat - drive out stay near Lake Louise,

Sun - ski into Peyto hut,

Mon - day trip from Peyto hut,

Tue - ski to Bow hut,

Wed - day trip from Bow hut,

Thu - ski to Balfour hut,

Fri - ski to Scott Duncan hut,

Sat - ski out, stay overnight in Golden

Sun - drive back to Van

Max group size 6 people based on hut booking. Currently one spot left.

Prerequisites: previous experience of overnight ski trips and glacier travel.

Gear: ski touring gear, food for six nights, sleeping bag, ice axe and crampons, harness, rope (one amongst three).

Cost: about $600, $36 per night in huts, $60 parks pass, food + petrol.
