Ski season is approaching and all of you planning on doing the Howe Sound Crest ski traverse this year should get out an help maintain this trail. This is a BCMC-adopted trail and it hasn't seen a work party this year.

A recent report on Bivouac said the trail was cleared. Not quite so! There is still a switchback that is obliterated by blowdown and there is a one-meter diameter log that is cut through but wedged in place. It needs a 2-ton or 5-ton come-along if someone has got one (E-man, are you out there?). If we get done early there's a ski bridge needed on the Harvey Creek road and some brush clearing up that way. Apparently, there's blowdown obscuring a junction low down on the Brunswick trail. No shortage of work but needs lots of volunteers.
